Now, it looks like another notable established DCEU character is set to show up in the film as one of the still images revealed that Jennifer Holland’s Emilia Harcourt is also appearing in the film. She can be seen standing beside Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate and Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman. You can check the photo below courtesy of Twitter user @TheDC_Syndicate:
Holland’s appearance in the upcoming film will mark her third outing in the DCEU after her debut in last year’s The Suicide Squad and appeared as one of the series regulars in Peacemaker earlier this year. She is also set to return in the show’s second season which is currently in the works. It is unknown yet how the character will play into the story of the film. Based on the image, we can safely assume that she is working with the Justice Society of America. You can also add the fact that she works directly for Amanda Waller and her appearance establishes even further that the film is part of the DCEU. The film’s logline reads: “Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.” Aside from Davis and Holland, the cast includes Dwayne Johnson, Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, and Bodhi Sabongui. Jaume Collet-Serra directed the film. Also Read: Black Adam Star The Rock Addresses 2024 US Presidential Bid Black Adam is slated for release in theaters this October 21.
