Reese Witherspoon Drops Big Little Lies Christmas Special Idea
Fans still hope Big Little Lies Season 3 is happening, though the odds seem to be not in their favor. However, in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Witherspoon believes a Christmas special of the show will be “really fun.” She pitched that this single episode would feature the reunion of the original cast, singing holiday songs at a karaoke bar, complete with a more comedic concept, though there might be another murder. [Laughs]”
Zoë Kravitz Shuts Down Big Little Lies Season 3 Hopes
In an interview with GQ Magazine, via Variety, Kravitz revealed she didn’t think a third season would happen after the first season director Jean-Marc Vallée’s untimely death. “We talked about doing a Season 3 a lot,” the 34-year-old star stated. It’s heartbreaking,” she explained. “I can’t imagine going on without him. He really was the visionary for that show. Unfortunately, it’s done.” Vallée was known for his vast filmography, including Dallas Buyers Club and Wild. He died in December 2021 due to a heart attack.
