Here’s What Happened Before Beast Tamer Episode 13
The episode opened with the demon leaving Edgar’s mansion to take on the civilians. But Rein and his party are determined to stop the demon. The demon went on a rampage but was stopped by Kanade and confronted by Rein’s group. Their early efforts to beat the demon proved futile as it summoned monster reinforcements. The heroes tried their best to defend themselves, but the demon was able to cast a spell that destroyed several parts of the town by setting them on fire. Sora and Runa used a light magic spell to pin down the demon as Rein boosted Tania and Kanade’s powers. Kanade and Tania then launched a series of punches at the demon followed by a light spell. Then, Kanade gut-punched the demon into the ground. However, they were shocked when they found out that all their attacks only severed one of his arms. The demon got furious and it summoned more monsters in an attempt to completely annihilate Horizon. Sora and Runa decided to use their magic to teleport the citizens to a safer location. Elsewhere, Mina informed Arios about the demon’s rampage in Horizon, but he was not interested as he wanted to focus on the Demon Lord. Leanne agreed with Arios and was against Mina and Aggath’s concerns about the rampaging demon. The group remained unaware that Arios was the one behind the appearance of the demon, hoping to exact his revenge on Rein. In the meantime, Stella, her knights, and Nina were able to defeat the demon’s monsters. They were soon joined by Runa and Sora who asked for their assistance in teleporting the people of the town. Stella and her knights looked for any civilians they could teleport while Nina stayed behind with Sora and Runa. Finally, Stella and company gathered a few civilians who were initially hesitant of using the fairies’ magic. But they were able to convince them eventually. Before they could teleport the civilians, a group of monsters appeared. Back in Rein’s group, Tania and Kanade are already exhausted after fighting the monsters. Thankfully, they got help from the town’s adventurers. At the same time, Runa dealt with a pack of monsters while Sora teleported the remaining civilians to safety. Nina also joined Rein’s party to help them fight the monsters. Tania and Kanade realized that Nina can use her powers to teleport Rein closer to the demon so he can then fight it. Rein carried Nina on his back and used her teleportation magic to challenge the demon. After using Boost on himself, he was able to restrain the demon. However, Rein got overwhelmed by the demon’s power. The demon tried to attack Rein but he was defeated by his own monsters who are now in Rein’s control. After the demon was defeated, Nina got exhausted from holding them up in the air. Rein and Nina started crashing down but Tania was able to catch them. After three days of the rampage, the people started rebuilding the town. Stella was also appointed as the new captain of the knights. Gilet, his accomplices, and Edgar’s father were taken to the capital where they will receive formal punishments for their actions. Nina found out that the people of her village were moved to a new location and she hoped to meet with them one day. Elsewhere, the rest of the hero party is busy helping with the rebuilding of Horizon. READ MORE: Is Beast Tamer Based on a Manga or Light Novel, and Is It Finished or Ongoing?
