Now, with all the multiversal shenanigans that have been going on in the MCU since the start of Phase 4, there seems to be renewed hope within the fandom that the character will be given another go as the Multiverse saga continues to shape up. But what if we told you that the same Ultron the Avengers vanquished in 2015’s Age of Ultron is still alive?The Cosmic Circus reports that Ultron could make his way back to Earth-616 in a future project. The outlet’s source claims that “the Ultron A.I. was not destroyed in the wake of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and remnants of the Ultron A.I. are still active but ‘dormant.’” They didn’t specify when the A.I. could make his return but it would be safe to assume that shows like Armor Wars or even Vision Quest could mark his grand MCU comeback. Previously, the character was casually namedropped in WandaVision and served as the What If…?’s main villain.
