He then shared how he had no idea he was going to play the role in the anime. The manga was serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from September 2009 to April 2021. As for the anime, its first three seasons were made by Wit Studio, with the production of The Final Season being transferred to MAPPA. While it’s called the “Final Season”, it is split into three parts. Part 1 aired from December 2020 to March 2021. Part 2 was then released from January to April 2022. The Final Season Part 3 is set to release sometime in 2023.
