Wikitree and Korea JoongAng Daily quoted the statement released by Yoo Ah In’s agency, UAA. According to the company, the Hellbound star did not play a role in the fatal crowd surge. “Yoo Ah-in had no part in what happened in Itaewon. He had business outside the country, so he left Korea on Oct. 29 and is currently overseas,” UAA said. The accusations emerged after rumors regarding a celebrity near the scene surfaced. The Korea Times noted that the tragedy’s fatalities had already reached 156, and Produce 101 Season 2 contestant Lee Ji Han was one of them.
